Lunch Link is a Lunch Club for people in Knaresborough over 65 and living alone. Folk meet in The Bridge café on a Tuesday from 11 a.m. onwards for coffee and a chat. Horton Housing holds a games & quiz fortnightly 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. We eat at 12.30 p.m.
There are five teams of people serving five different meals over a five week period:
Week 1: Chicken Bake
Week 2: Sausages and Yorkshire Pudding
Week 3: Pork Casserole
Week 4: Steak pie, mash, and veg
Week 5: Cottage Pie
Pudding and tea/coffee served after each meal.
