Bridge Coffee Bar

Monday:

10.00am - 2.00pm

Start the week by coming to The Bridge - drinks, biscuits, cakes, scones, toasted teacakes and hot cooked lunches by Harrogate College.  The Priory Room becomes our special Family Eating and Play Space where adults can chat and relax as the children play. Welcoming and listening by Church volunteers.

Tuesday:

10.00am - 12.00 noon

Why not pop into The Bridge for drinks, biscuits, cakes, scones, toasted teacakes. Welcoming and listening by Church volunteers.

A Book Club meets on the 2nd Tuesday each month for a coffee and to discuss the book the group have been reading over the previous month. New members are always welcome.

10.30am

Parkinson's Friendship Group meets for coffee and chat on the 3rd Tuesday each month. Parkinson's sufferers and their families are invited to come along.

10.30am

A Chatty Crafts group meets on the 3rd Tuesday each month when people enjoy doing their knitting, cross stitch, etc. together and chat over a cup of coffee or tea. New people are welcome to come along.

Wednesday:

10.00am - 12 noon

Take time to relax on Market Day by popping in for tea or coffee, biscuits, cakes, scones or toasted teacakes served by students from Henshaws. Welcoming and listening by Church volunteers.

Our Fairtrade Stall is available on most Wednesdays selling a variety of food and gifts for you to buy.

11.15am - 11.45am

Everyone is invited to spend a few quiet moments in a busy week at 'Pause for Thought and Prayer' which meets for 30 minutes every Wednesday in the Quiet Space.

The Knaresborough Safer Neighbourhood Police Officer often calls in on Wednesdays to spend time chatting to people about any questions, queries or concerns they might have.

Thursday:

10.00am - 12.00 noon

Come in for a mid-week treat. Drinks, biscuits, cakes, scones, toasted teacakes served by Springwater School. Welcoming and listening by Church volunteers.

10.30am

Every Thursday Age UK North Yorkshire run 'Staying Steady Strollers' - steady paced, 30-40 minutes flat social walks starting and finishing at The Bridge. Walks are free - no need to book - just come along.

9.30am

On the 3rd Thursday each month the Rev. Colin Lake leads a 30-minute Bible Study. Everyone welcome.

10.00am

Also on the 3rd Thursday of the month there is a 'Piano Bar' when Malcolm Hughes plays a wide selection of popular pieces and songs. Visitors enjoy listening to the music, having coffee or tea and chatting to friends. Everyone is very welcome.

A book Club meets on the 4th Thursday each month to have a coffee and discuss the book which members have been reading during the previous month. New members are always welcome.

Friday:
